Worthington

Worthington, a northern suburb, was named in honor of Thomas Worthington, the sixth governor of Ohio. Authentic brick sidewalks leading to a central village green showcase the city’s New England heritage with many of the original commercial buildings and churches still standing to this day. The village green lies just steps away from downtown Worthington, filled with shops and restaurants which attract locals and visitors from across the metropolitan area, especially for the farmer’s market. The neighborhoods further solidify a New England feeling with mature trees and traditional architecture. An acclaimed local arts center promotes the performing, visual and literary arts with educational efforts and performances by artists and other arts organizations. Meanwhile, the Worthington Community Center features an aquatic complex with two pools, fitness center, sports courts and art studio.
