Westerville

The city of Westerville lies in the northeast section of Greater Columbus; it was the first suburb to grow north of I-270 – starting in the 1960s and 70s and continuing to this day with nearly 40,000 residents. Westerville maintains 41 parks and recreation facilities, including a state-of-the-art community recreation center, a playground for kids of all ages, an indoor pool, fitness classes and meeting space. Uptown Westerville serves as a central business district with thoughtful design and streets filled with local establishments for eating and shopping. Westerville is also home to Otterbein University, a private four-year liberal arts college with 3,000 students.
